Problem

This error can sometimes occur during the initial setup of Xray, and the Error message received should be like this:  

 

f you encounter this issue, please follow these steps on your end: 

 

  • You need to go to: Jira Settings -> Apps -> Manage Apps


 


  • Unsubscribe from the plugin 
  • Uninstall Xray 
  • Install Xray again 
  • Validate behavior 



If you are not able to Unsubscribe from the app, simply reach out to Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ and request their help for the uninstallation process, as these actions are managed by their team.
