Problem
When importing Test result the Test issue gets duplicated instead of updated.
Solution
- Check the permission of the JIRA user being used to connect to Jira.
- You need to have the following permission on the user:
Create Issues
Edit Issues
Link Issues
Resolve Issues
Browse Projects - In case the user does not have these permissions, this is the problem, please give these permissions to the user.
It is important to notice that the arguments are part of the Test Definition and so the same test with a different argument is considered as two different test cases, one for each argument. So in this case there are no duplicated Tests.
