The Xray team is proud to announce Xray Exploratory App 2.0 version. This version is available on Windows, Mac OSx, and Linux.
This version is all about manual test executions, minimized bar, and the newly introduced dark mode(appearance).

Release highlights
Manual Test Execution 
The Xray Exploratory App introduces runtime manual tests that were defined in Xray Test Management for Jira Server/Cloud.
Now you will be able to load all the steps that belong to the test and it will display:
- Step status
- Action
- Data
- Expected Result
- Attachments
- Actual Result
Furthermore, the user will be able to add evidence for each step:
- Screenshot
- Video
- Audio
- Note
Finally, the step status can be updated and the test status will be automatically calculated according to the status for each step.

Minimized View
The minimized view is a new feature that allows users to manage the test from a small screen:
- Pause and Stop the session
- Add screenshots, audio, video, and notes
Furthermore, this new view also includes the time from the start of the session. All the actions performed on this view will be applied to the test/step and it will appear on the timeline.

Light and Dark Mode
Now you have the possibility to change the appearance of the application to the one you want, using light/dark mode or according to your system settings.

Save Test charters and Test cases
This new feature allows you to save the test case and reuse it to create multiple test sessions.
The user needs to select the option Save Test Carter option to make changes to the test and after that, the user will be able to load the test with all the progress.

Add issues and defects from the evidence
This new feature will allow you to create new generic issues or defects in your Jira project.
After capture, a screenshot, video, or audio you will have these two options in the window that will be opened.

Export evidence from Timeline
This new feature allows you to directly export your evidence from the Timeline
The user needs to select the evidence, by clicking on the checkbox from the item in the tab Timeline, and after you will see four options: Delete, Add Issue, Add Defect, and Export.
