If previously for some reason during a session, you were not able to finish a session, you can now recover it and continue your work without losing the information you had.


You can open a Session from two places:

  • Web Console
  • Desktop Application

Web Console

  1. Navigate the workspace of the session you want to edit/open
  2. Click the More Options icon and select Continue in desktop app option

  3. The session opens in the desktop app.

Desktop Application

  1. Open the Exploratory Desktop App.

  2. Click the Open From Cloud button and select the workspace where the session file is stored.

  3. In the Open From Cloud dialog, select the session.

  4. The session opens in the desktop app.

 

After performing this, click the Resume button; you will be sent to the "Test" tab of Desktop Application, and by default the button Resume Session is available for you to continue the session. You can perform the session as explained in Executing a generic exploratory testing session section.
