Xray's project-level settings are configured in each project's Jira Administration -> Settings -> Xray Settings.
Team-managed projects are also supported by Xray. Additional manual configuration steps are needed for these projects as users first need to create the Xray issue types manually and then map these issue types with Xray entities.

Users who need to edit Project Permissions fields must have Admin project permissions to modify these Xray settings within a specific project. By granting project Admin privileges, the user will have access to all Xray Admin settings, as well as general project Admin functions. For example, the user will be able to assign roles to other users. Typically, a project inherits the Xray Global Settings established by the Admin.
