Whenever using Xray, if out-of-synch issues are detected then a warning message will be shown to the user so he can be aware of it and take an action in order to resolve it, by doing a without having to do a full project re-index.

The way apps are deployed and run om Cloud follows a different approach from Jira Server, due to the way Jira Cloud architecture was designed by Atlassian. On Jira Server, apps such as Xray run directly in the web container of Jira; on the other hand, the Cloud apps must run outside of Jira Cloud infrastructure and use secure APIs in order to interact with Jira. |
Force a re-index
Re-index can be enforced from the project settings "Re-Indexing" section. This operation can take some time depending on the size of your project.
