  1. At Manage Apps, select Xray and select Uninstall. Check more information how to access manage apps at Jira documentation.
  2. You might also delete the custom field fields that Xray added to your screens. You can delete them, or make sure they are removed from all screens or hide them at the field configuration. If you aren't sure if you can delete them, we suggest you to hide at Field Configuration Schemes. To delete them, you can go to "Custom Fields" and search for Xray custom fields:
    • Begin Date (The start date of the Test Execution or Test Plan)
    • End Date (The completion date for the Test Execution or Test Plan)
    • Revision (The revision of the SUT being addressed by the Test Execution)
  3. We also recommend to remove Xray issue types from your issue schemes. If you prefer, you can also delete them, but please note, this is will lead to data loss and you can only recover that information with a backup.
    • Go to Issue types, and search for:
      • Test
      • Test Plan
      • Test Set
      • Test Execution
      • Sub-Test Execution
      • Precondition
    • You can either delete them, remove them from all schemes or create a an issue security scheme that would make them only visable visible for admins. If you are not sure you can delete them, we suggest you to remove them from all issues types schemes and use a issue security to hide them from all users ( except jira-administrators)
