How does Xray update the Test Plan based on JQL filters?

To keep Test Plan up to date with current results from the JQL filter, Xray will run a service in the background every two hours. This interval can be modified in the Services section of the Jira system administration.

There are special cases in which a Test Plan will be updated immediately:

  • Accessing a Test Plan in the issue view screen
  • Accessing a Test Plan through REST
