Check available test steps fields


Go to your Project > Project settings > Xray Settings > Test Step Custom Fields and check the available fields.

The available Test steps fields are:



Tip

If not needed you can disable "Data" & "Expected Result" or make them required.

You can not perform any changes on "Action".

Create new test steps fields

At Test Steps Custom Fields click "Create.". 

Select "Type" and fill the configuration settings. 


Available step fields types:

  • Toggle
  • Date Picker
  • Date Picker
  • Number field
  • Radio button
  • Select lists (single choice and multi choices)
  • Text field (single and multi-line)


Note

Xray allows up to 6 fields enabled for a step.

Repeat Test Step Field creation

You may need to add the new Test Step Field in other projects. 

If so, you need to repeat the creation of the field on all desired projects.
