Since Xray 6.4.0 users are able to receive in Xray notifications of several types such as Product Announcements, Release Updates and others.

Checking notifications

When a notification is sent to Xray, you can see a snippet with it on the bottom left side of the screen. Clicking on that snippet will trigger an action (such as opening a link, or the notifications history widget). You can also see a floating button on the bottom right side; clicking on this floating button opens the notifications history window.

Enabling and Disabling notifications

You can choose to turn on and off the reception of those notifications, globally (first toggle in the image below), or selectively Upgrade/Information notification types (second and third toggles in the image below).

Also in this Xray Notification Settings page, it is possible to access the notifications history that displays all the notifications that were received (see image below for an example of the notifications history in a standalone page). You can search the contents and filter by the notification types (Information, Upgrade)
