This feature is only available to Jira & Xray users. You need to set Exploratory Testing App integrated with Jira, check how at Connecting with Jira.

Now you can runtime manual tests that were defined in Xray Test Management for Jira Server/Cloud. To do this follow the steps below:

  1. Click the option Create New File
  2. Select the project that contains the test you want to record a session
  3. Next, select the test you want and click on Create New Session

Start Testing Session

After the third step described above you see the tab Test with the details of the chosen Test.

Depending on the information you filled in on the issue when creating the test in Jira, you see the same information.

After completing the previous steps, do as follows:

  1. Click Start Session
  2. Choose if you want to create now or later the Test Execution or the Test Run
  3. Select the window to record the session

Now you can start to execute your session.
