Occasionally, updates can disable Xray. This typically happens during the upgrade process on the Jira side. If Jira encounters an issue downloading any of the available translation files, the Xray app may be left disabled without providing any warning to users.
This behavior has been observed in some cases, and Atlassian is already aware of the situation. You can find more details about this issue here. We are actively collaborating with Atlassian to address this and prevent it from occurring in future updates.

At the moment, the workaround is to manually Enable the App by navigating to Apps > Manage Apps > Enable Xray;
