The Xray team is pleased to announce the rollout of a new release for Xray Cloud, introducing a new behaviour for our Test Repository folders loading and resolving a set of reported issues.

Smoother, Faster, and More Responsive Test Repository Experience

We will enhance the Testing Board to improve usability, optimize loading times, and provide better control over dataset visibility, ensuring a smoother experience and greater customization through global and project-level settings.

What’s New?

  • Updated Testing Board Settings

    • Introduced a new Testing Board setting featuring a dataset toggle option, configurable in both global misc settings and project-level misc settings.

  • Improved Dataset Visibility

    • The "Dataset" icon now dynamically appears or hides based on your global and project settings, ensuring clearer navigation. Keep in mind that it will be enabled by default.

  • Non-Blocking Loading Experience

    • Replaced the blocking spinner with a non-blocking loading screen for a smoother workflow.
    • Loading additional items now uses a non-blocking loading indicator, allowing interaction with the page while data loads.

These updates will improve your experience and provide more flexibility in managing datasets within the Testing Board. 🎯
