When another Test Status is needed like e.g. Cancelled Status.

If you are an admnistrator you can create custom Test Run statuses. Each status can have a name, description, marked final and have a specific color. New Test Run statuses can be created and all existing custom statuses can be modified.

With this new status, you are able to assign it to a test.

Step-by-step guide

To create a new custom status,

1. go to Jira Settings >> Apps 
2. Xray >> Test Statuses
3. Then create another one filling the fields needed.

Then set your test with Cancelled status and in the Overall Test Result you'll now see your tests with Cancelled Status. An example below:
