At the project level, you can configure extra Test run Fields. These fields will be available when you are executing a Test and can be used for your team to add more information during the test execution.

To configure Test Run Fields you just need the project Administration permission, so this is something that can be done by any project admin.

Create Test Run Fields

Go to your Project > Project settings > Xray Settings > Test Run Custom Fields and select "Create".

Select the Type and fill the configurations options.

You must set the Test Type where you want this field to be applied. This allows you to have different customs fields for different test types.

Available Test Run Field Types:

Toggle
Date Picker
Date Picker
Number field
Radio button
Select lists (single choice and multi choices)
Text field (single and multi-line)

You can configure different custom fields for different Test Types. Each Test type can have up to 3 fields for each type of Test.

You can make custom fields required.

Repeat Test Step Field creation

You may need to add the new Test Run Field in other projects.

If so, you need to repeat the creation of the field on all desired projects.
