As a Project administrator, you can define which Parameter value lists are available to your project. These lists can be used to define the available values for list parameters and also to define datasets columns.
Project parameter value lists can be either imported to a project from the globally available Parameter value lists (defined in Xray section of Jira settings detailed in Global Settings: Parameter value lists) or created directly in the project.
However, Parameter value lists are managed within the scope of a project. Those are the ones that will be seen by your project.
By default, no Parameter value list will be automatically added to your project, they always have to be added explicitly.
If the same list is shared by multiple projects, you can create a global list instead and enable it for the projects where you want to use the list. |
To create a new project Parameter value list, click Create List, fill out the following fields, and press Create:
Existing Global Parameter value lists can be modified. You just to need to:
In Xray project settings you can only edit a project scoped parameter value list, to learn how to edit a global scoped parameter value list go to: Global Settings: Parameter value lists. |
Project Parameter value lists can be deleted from Xray.
In Xray project settings when you delete a Global list, it will only be deleted from that project, it will not affect the global list itself or other projects. To learn how to delete a global scoped parameter value list, go to: Global Settings: Parameter value lists. |
