## Problem

When accessing the Xray Health Check in Jira Cloud, it shows that the **Xray Sub Test Execution** issue type is not installed.

### Why this happens?

In Jira Cloud, if the Xray Sub Test Execution issue type is missing, it's often because sub-task functionality is disabled in Jira. Since Xray Sub Test Execution relies on Jira's sub-task feature, it will not function properly unless sub-tasks are enabled. This may occur if sub-tasks were not automatically enabled during the creation of a new Jira Cloud instance.

### How to Solve?

1-Go to **Jira Settings** > **Issues**.
2- Look for the **Sub-tasks** section.
3-If sub-tasks are disabled, enable them.

4- Once the Jira Sub-task are enabled. Access the Xray Health Check **(Apps, Manage your Apps, Health Check**)
5- On the Health Check screen, click on the button **Re-install Xray**. **Please note, this action will not cause any problems to your Xray data. **

6- Once you clicked on the Re-install Xray button, the Xray Sub Test Execution will be installed in your Jira Cloud instance.

### Additional Notes for Jira Server/DC to Cloud Migrations:

If you're migrating from Jira Server or Data Center to Jira Cloud,** make sure to enable sub-tasks before performing the migration**. If sub-tasks are not enabled on the Cloud instance, it could lead to issues, such as missing the **Xray Sub Test Execution issue data. **
