In addition to Jira’s features, Xray offers three custom fields: **Begin Date**, **End D****ate**, and **Revision**. However, you also have the flexibility to create your custom fields and organize each test screen with the specific fields that matter to you.

As Xray entities ( Test, Test Plan, Test Set, Test Execution, Sub-Test Execution and Precondition) are Jira Issues, you can take advantage of Jira capabilities, like creating custom fields, set workflows or empowering issue security like you would normally do in other issue in Jira.
