> ℹ️ This KB aims to clarify the minimum version requirements for all users and administrators to benefit from recent migration improvements. **Xray Data Center must be running at least version 7.4.2**; otherwise, the migration will not work and is expected to fail.

Since **December 2025**, we have released several improvements in **Xray Cloud** (starting with version 6.13.0) that allow migrations to run **in parallel** using clearly defined migration service tracks. This significantly reduces migration time, but it also requires a **minimum Xray version** on the Data Center, that is version** 7.4.2**. With these changes on the Xray Cloud side, the **minimum supported Xray Data Center version for migration** is **7.4.2**. Starting from this version, Xray allows **parallel export of Data Center data**, which is fully supported in Xray Cloud 6.13 and later.

While 7.4.2 is the minimum supported version, we strongly recommend upgrading Xray Data Center to the latest available version. Doing so helps avoid potential issues and ensures you benefit from all migration-related improvements and fixes.
