When running a migration using **JCMA**, Xray may appear as **Skipped** in the migration plan.

### Why does this happen?

This occurs when the **Cloud Migration target** in Xray Data Center (DC) is not configured correctly **before** starting the migration.

If the selected target (Xray Standard or Enterprise) does not match your intended Xray Cloud destination, JCMA will skip Xray during the migration process.

**How to Avoid It**

Before running the migration, configure the correct **Cloud Migration target**:

1. Go to **Jira Administration**
2. Select **Manage Apps**
3. Scroll to **Xray**
4. Click on **Cloud Migration**
5. Set the correct **Cloud Migration target **(Xray Standard or Enterprise)

6. Click **Save**

## Correct Target Configuration

Below are the correct configurations depending on your migration path:

### 1️⃣ Migrating Xray DC (Standard) → Xray Cloud (Standard)

Navigation:

> Jira Administration → Manage Apps → Xray → Cloud Migration

Set:

- **Cloud Migration target:** `Xray Standard`
- Click **Save**

### 2️⃣ Migrating Xray Enterprise DC → Xray Cloud (Standard)

Navigation:

> Jira Administration → Manage Apps → Xray → Cloud Migration

Set:

- **Cloud Migration target:** `Xray Standard`
- Click **Save**

### 3️⃣ Migrating Xray DC (Standard) → Xray Enterprise Cloud

Navigation:

> Jira Administration → Manage Apps → Xray → Cloud Migration

Set:

- **Cloud Migration target:** `Xray Enterprise`
- Click **Save**

### 4️⃣ Migrating Xray Enterprise DC → Xray Enterprise Cloud

Navigation:

> Jira Administration → Manage Apps → Xray → Cloud Migration

Set:

- **Cloud Migration target:** `Xray Enterprise`
- Click **Save**


## Important Notes

- The Cloud Migration target **must be configured before starting JCMA**.
- If Xray shows as **Skipped**, verify this configuration first.
- After correcting the setting, you must **create a new migration plan** in JCMA.
