Whether you're new to Xray or need a quick refresher, the improved layout helps you find what you need faster, making test management more efficient than ever. ## New Settings at Project Level ![Figure 2 - New Settings at Project Level](media://8aa310b5-8492-4ffc-ba40-eece6333c9cc) We are excited to introduce **Project-Level Settings** in Xray, giving teams greater flexibility and control over their test management configurations. With this update: - Settings that were previously global and restricted to instance administrators can now be managed at the project level, allowing each project to tailor Xray to its specific needs. - **Project administrators** can now configure **Requirement Coverage** and **Defect Mapping** on a per-project basis, ensuring greater adaptability for different teams. - **Miscellaneous settings** that were once only configurable globally can now be customized per project, giving teams more autonomy over their workflows. - We are also introducing the ability to **customize default column layouts** for Xray issues at the project level, allowing teams to personalize their views for improved efficiency. This enhancement is especially valuable for larger organizations with diverse teams, ensuring better adaptability and streamlined administration.
