That's why we're prioritizing improvements to streamline the migration process and minimize downtime for Xray users. ![image](media://6689684a-961c-41a9-affe-b423f68ad057) # Upgrade Notes ### Downgrading to Any Version Downgrading from Xray 7.7.0 to a version previous than 7.6.0 may have the following side effects: Until Xray 7.6.0, Xray DC only supported the Test types below. | **Kind** | **Test Type/ Pre-Condition Type** | | --- | --- | | Steps | Manual | | Gherkin | Cucumber, Automated[Cucumber], Gherkin, Behave, SpecFlow, Behat | | Unstructured | Generic, Automated[Generic], Other | - If you create a new Custom Type and map it to a Kind, when downgrading, Xray will not know about this mapping and will assume it is an **Unstructured** Test. - For example, you create a Type called "Hierarchical Steps" and map it to the Kind Steps. When downgrading, the testers will see the Xray UI of an Unstructured Test.
