This major update streamlines how Enterprise customers purchase, manage, and deploy Xray Products. ### What’s New? - **Just one license: **Xray Enterprise 2.0.0 no longer requires a paid [Xray](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211769/xray-test-management-for-jira?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview) license, meaning customers now purchase **just the Xray Enterprise license** simplifying procurement and compliance. - **Cleaner setup:** Reduced complexity in app management, upgrades, and billing. > ℹ️ Xray Enterprise 2.0.0 is distributed as a single artifact and automatically installs both **Xray Test Management for Jira** and **Xray Enterprise**, using the latest version of each. Xray Test Management **8.0.0** is the **minimum version** required for your Xray Enterprise as an independent app. **If you do not wish Xray to be updated to 8.0.0, do not install the latest Xray Enterprise 2.0.0.** ## Project Level Settings Improvements Xray 8.0.0 provides significantly enhanced control over **Project level settings. **With this update, **Jira Global Admins** now have precise control over which projects will allow their **Project Admins** to override **Global settings** using the **Project level settings.** Additionally, Jira Global Admins will now have visibility over exactly which projects have settings differing from the corresponding global settings. ### What’s New? - **Granular control:** Global Admins can now **enable or disable **Project Admins' ability to override global settings on a **per project** basis, restoring full control to Global Admins if needed (Figure 1). - **Flexible configuration: **Projects that require specific behaviors or settings can still be accommodated.
