The Xray team is pleased to announce a new release for <u>[Xray Cloud](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211769/xray-test-management-for-jira)</u> and <u>[Xray Enterprise Cloud](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1229688/xray-enterprise-test-management-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview)</u>, introducing support for tolerant Test migrations and a set of known issues.

# Release Highlights

## Introducing Error-Tolerant Test Migrations

### What’s New

With this update, users can now run **Test migrations that proceed regardless of existing error thresholds**, allowing for a more complete evaluation of migration outcomes without being blocked by validation limits.

### How it Works

When configuring your migration in [Jira Cloud Migration Assistant](https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/jira-cloud-migration-assistant/):

- Select **“Testing”** under the **“Choose migration stage”** option.
- This activates **tolerant mode**, allowing the migration to proceed even if errors are detected.

### Key Benefits

- **Uninterrupted test migrations**: Run migrations end-to-end without being blocked by threshold limits.
- **Improved assessment phase**: Identify and analyze issues in a real migration scenario
- **No impact on production safety**: <u>Production migrations continue to enforce existing error thresholds.</u>

This capability is fully managed within [Jira Cloud Migration Assistant](https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/jira-cloud-migration-assistant/), requiring no additional configuration in Xray.

> ℹ️ If you are still on Xray Cloud 6.16.0, your Jira admin must manually update Xray to the latest version to take advantage of all recent and future releases. Within your Jira Admin screen, navigate to *Connected apps* → *Xray* → *View app details* → *Update*.
