The Xray team is pleased to announce a new release for [Xray Cloud](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211769/xray-test-management-for-jira) and [Xray Enterprise Cloud](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1229688/xray-enterprise-test-management-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview), introducing **AI Test Prioritization**.
# Release Highlights
## AI Test Prioritization
Leverage Sembi IQ to analyze large amounts of input data and intelligently prioritize your [Test Plans](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565153) and [Test Executions](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565037) to maximize Testing efficiency (Figure 1).
### What’s New
- Provide a custom context and configurations to guide Sembi IQ’s analysis.
- Automatically re-rank Tests within Test Plans/Executions based on the provided context and historical data.
- AI Priority Insights: a dedicated field displays the AI-assigned priority of each Test case, with hover tooltips for deeper explanations.
- Execution transparency: each prioritization is logged on the Test Plan/Execution Work item with a summary of the overall strategy and changes applied.
### How it Works
- Users guide Sembi IQ to prioritize any existing Test Plan/Execution by providing a free text prompt and adjusting optional configurations.
- Sembi IQ analyzes data on each Test case, including historical [Test Run](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565109) results and associated Defects.
- Test cases are re-ranked in priority order, top down, and include a new field for “AI Priority,” enabling you to execute the most important Tests first.

> ℹ️ Given that this release is a major version, your Jira admin must manually update Xray to the latest version to take advantage of all recent and future releases. Within your Jira Admin screen, navigate to *Connected apps* → *Xray* → *View app details* → *Update*.
