# Introduction

Xray offers built-in reports, via the Xray Reporting Center, designed to analyze your project from multiple perspectives, including Testing progress, current Requirement statuses, and more. These reports provide valuable insights to help you:

- Monitor the progress and outcomes of Testing efforts.
- Assess the status and coverage of Requirements to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Identify gaps or areas needing additional focus to improve software quality.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize testing strategies and resource allocation.

By leveraging these reports, teams can gain a comprehensive understanding of their project’s health and readiness for release, facilitating better planning and stakeholder communication.

# Navigation

## Categories and Interactions

Within the Reporting Center, the available reports are divided into four main categories (Figure 7), each one with its own color code:

- Organization & Planning.
- Execution.
- Coverage & Analytics.
- [Document Generator](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565169) (this section always takes you to the Xray Global Settings Document Generator Templates screen, which requires Admin privileges).

![Figure 6 - Reports](media://fb2da853-cd63-423a-820e-3b145e0e2d3f)

Each report is represented by a card, and you can click the respective star (Figure 7 - 1) to highlight the most relevant reports and access them via the *Starred Only* tab (Figure 7 - 3).

## Preview

All reports can be previewed directly within the Reporting Center by hovering over them (Figure 7 - 2). The preview shows a representation of the layout of that specific report, so that you can have a clear understanding of what type of report is available within each card.
