The Xray team is pleased to announce the rollout of a new release for Xray Cloud, focused on:
- Supporting [App Editions](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/393183414);
- [AI Test Case Generation](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/392921171) available in open BETA;
- [AI Test Model Generation](https://docs.getxray.app/space/XRAYCLOUD/393052325/AI+Test+Model+Generation) available in open BETA;
- The decoupling of [Xray Enterprise](https://www.getxray.app/xray-enterprise) as a new independent app.
# Release Highlights
## AI Test Case Generation (BETA)
We’re introducing **AI-powered Test Case Generation** (Figure 1) to help you move faster from Requirements to executable Tests.
**What’s New?**
- Generate both **Manual** and **[Gherkin-based](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565320)** Tests directly within Xray.
- Provide **Requirements as context**, link **[Preconditions](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565159)**, and use a **prompt** to generate your Tests and [Test Steps](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565316).
- After generation, you can:
- Select which Tests to keep.
- Edit steps directly in place.
- Assign labels and organize them into your **desired ****[Test Repository](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565166)**** folder**.
This feature is available in open **BETA** and marks the beginning of a new era for assisted Test creation in Xray.

## AI Test Model Generation – Test Case Designer (BETA)
We’re enhancing our **Test Case Designer **feature with new **AI-powered actions** (Figure 2) to help you build and refine parameterized models faster.
**What’s New?**
- **Suggest initial Parameters** when starting from an empty model.
- **Add Parameters to an existing model**, with up to 10 new candidates per request.
- **Generate values for a new Parameter** if you know something is missing but lacks details.
- **Expand Parameter values** to broaden your Test scope.
- **Reduce Parameter values** to streamline and focus your scenarios.
These AI-guided actions are available in the **Parameters section** of the Regular view (not in Bulk view) and adapt dynamically based on the size of your parameter set. This flexible, iterative process allows you to start from AI-generated suggestions or your own inputs and continue refining until your model is ready for testing.

Xray Cloud supports **[Atlassian App Editions](https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/app-plans/)**, giving organizations more flexibility to choose the plan that better fits their needs.
**What’s New?**
- Choose between **Xray Standard** and **Xray Advanced** editions directly on the Atlassian Marketplace.
- With **Xray Advanced**, you gain access to:
- Increased **RPM (requests per minute)**.
- Expanded **Storage capacity**.
- Our flagship **[Test Case Designer](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565543)**.

## Xray Enterprise Independent App
Starting today, **[Xray Enterprise](https://www.getxray.app/xray-enterprise)** is now available as an **[independent app](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1229688/xray-enterprise)****.** This major update streamlines how Enterprise customers purchase, manage, and deploy Xray Products by eliminating the need to license both **Xray** and **Xray Enterprise** together.
### What’s New?
- **Standalone offering: **Xray Enterprise no longer requires Xray to be installed or licensed.
- **Single license model: **customers now purchase **just one license** for Xray Enterprise, simplifying procurement and compliance.
- If you are already an Enterprise customer, this change will take effect starting with your **next billing cycle**.
- **Cleaner setup:** reduced complexity in app management, upgrades, and billing.

## Exporting Dataset Improvements
We’ve enhanced the **API export functionality** to ensure full data consistency between Jira DC and Jira Cloud.
**What’s New?**
- You can now **pull overridden dataset values from called Tests** using the Xray APIs.
- This update brings parity with Jira DC behavior, where customers could already see overridden dataset values in the exported JSON.
