# Introduction

## Managing Templates

### Adding a New Template

<span style="color: #172b4d">Allows you to create a new template via a file upload.</span>

### Template Store

With this option, you can install/reinstall free Templates from the Template Store provided by Xray.

### Downloading a Template

Allows you to download the Template file.

### Editing a Template

Allows you to change an existing Template information (changing the Template name, Template description, Template file, etc.).

> 
> Template scopes define where the Template will be available. The following scopes are available:

> | Issue Navigator | Multiple Issues export (Issue Navigator screen) or Bulk action |
> | Issue Detail | Export one Issue at the Issue detail screen |
> | Agile Boards | This scope refers to Backlog and Active Sprint and Kanban |
> | Releases | Manage release on Agile/Kanban boards. Document Generator is available on the Release list and Detail screen |
