# Introduction

This page shows how Spaces administrators can configure **Team and Company-Managed** Spaces with Xray.

Currently, for Team-Managed Spaces, the Space administrator must create the Xray Work types manually and then map these Work types with Xray entities.

> ✅ Not all Xray Work types are required. You can just use a Team-Managed Space for Requirements (Epics, Stories), without creating any of the Xray Work types.

> ✅ On the other hand, if you need to have Xray Testing entities in a Space, please follow the steps below to create Xray Work types.

## Team-Manged Space

### Creating Work Types

Go to your [Space configuration screen](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44567037) to [create the Work types](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565156) you wish to map later to Xray entities. 

### Mapping Work Types to Xray Entities

The next step is to map the Work types created above with Xray entities.

## Company-Managed Space

### Creating Work Types

Go to your [Space configuration screen](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44567037) to [create the Work types](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565156) you wish to map later to Xray entities. 

### Mapping Work Types to Xray Entities

The next step is to map the Work types created above with Xray entities.
