On this screen, the administrator can generate and download a Backup of the Xray information of the Jira instance.

The file is compressed in the ZIP format.

A backup file can be generated every six hours and then is deleted after seven days.

# Restoring a Jira Cloud Backup

When restoring a Jira Cloud Backup, Xray data is not recovered after reinstalling the app.

**Steps to reproduce Data**

> Create a full backup of your Jira Site using **Jira → Settings → System → Backup Manager**.

> Restore your data *within the same site* using **Jira → Settings → System → Import Jira Cloud**.

> 2. → Import media
>

> 
> Reinstall all Marketplace apps, including [Xray](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44566344), [Xray Enterprise](https://www.getxray.app/xray-enterprise), and [Xporter](https://www.getxporter.app/).
> 
> **Result:** The user's Xray entities are no longer associated with Xray data (Test cases have no steps, executions have no Tests, etc.). All of this data was present before executing Step 2.
