# Introduction

## Overview

Xray integrates with [Atlassian Dashboards](https://community.developer.atlassian.com/t/introducing-atlassian-home-dashboards/91079) on the Home page through [Teamwork Graph](https://www.atlassian.com/platform/teamwork-graph), allowing [Xray Enterprise](https://www.getxray.app/xray-enterprise) customers to build rich, native reporting experiences using Xray Testing data.

By participating in Atlassian’s Home Dashboards Beta and connecting Xray to Teamwork Graph, customers can create custom widgets based on Tests and [Test Plans](https://getxraydocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XRAYCLOUD/pages/44565153), directly on the Jira Home experience.

## Use Cases

Atlassian Dashboards powered by Teamwork Graph allows you to:

- Build custom visualizations using Tests and Test Plans
- Combine Xray data with data from other Atlassian products.
- Surface Testing insights directly on Jira Home.

> ℹ️ The exact set of available metrics and widget types depends on Atlassian’s Home Dashboards capabilities and Xray entities sent to Teamwork Graph during the Beta phase.

## Prerequisites

Before you can report on Xray data in Atlassian Home Dashboards, all of the following conditions must be met:

- You are using [Xray Enterprise](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1229688/xray-enterprise-test-management-for-jira).
- Your Jira instance is enrolled in the Atlassian Home Dashboards Beta.
- The Xray Teamwork Graph Connector is activated.
- You have permission to create and edit dashboards on Jira Home.

## Limitations and Considerations

- Reporting on Jira Home Dashboards requires participation in Atlassian’s Beta program.
- Data freshness depends on Teamwork Graph ingestion and processing.
- Gadget availability and configuration options may evolve as Atlassian exits the Beta program.

# Operations

## Reporting Flow Overview

The reporting setup follows this sequence, detailed below:

1. Join the Atlassian Home Dashboards Beta.
2. Activate the Xray Teamwork Graph Connector.
3. Build widgets using Test and Test Plan metrics.
4. Add Xray-powered gadgets to the Jira Home dashboard.
