Introduction of the Usage Monitor to Drive Adoption and Best Practices in Xray Enterprise
Track adoption, spot anti-patterns, and drive testing best practices across your organization.
What's New?
Gain visibility into how Xray is being used across projects with detailed usage metrics for key testing entities like Tests, Test Executions, Test Runs, and more.
- Identify adoption gaps and detect anti-patterns, such as excessive use of certain test types, low execution rates, or inactive projects, helping guide teams towards best practices.
- Extract usage data easily through CSV exports for further analysis or reporting outside of Jira.
- Empower admins with actionable insights to foster better testing discipline, promote consistent usage patterns, and support continuous improvement.

Figure 3 - Test Executions List Report showcasing archived Test Runs
Enhanced Visibility for Archived Test Runs in Xray
Streamline archived Test Runs impact on your testing activities and reporting.
What's New?
Easily spot archived test runs within a Test Execution through a new visual icon, helping teams understand the status of historical data at a glance. Main changes:
- The icon is now visible in key reports such as the Test Executions List, making it easier to scan and filter relevant executions.
- When all Test Runs inside a Test Execution are archived, the TO DO status color is now displayed in a darker grey to improve visual contrast and simplify analysis.
These changes make working with archived data more intuitive and consistent, especially when auditing or reviewing historical test activity.
