Problem

The users from a specific Group/Role cannot assign a user to a Test Run. The only displayed options are:

  • Unassigned
  • Test Assignee
  • Test Reporter

No users are displayed.

Solution

Verify if the group/Role has the following permissions:

  • Global Permissions:
    • Browse Users
  • Project Level Permissions:
    • Assign Issues
    • Edit Issues
    • OR
    • [Xray] Override Assign Test Runs
