The Xray team is proud to announce the release of Xray Exploratory App for Windows and Mac version 1.1.0. 

Release highlights 

Do you need to create sub-defects? Sometimes do you need to create issues other than defects (like an improvement)? Do you want to try the app connected to Jira but you don't have Xray for Jira installed? Well, now you can do all that and more. What's new?

  • Option to create Xray Test issues in the beginning or at the end of the Exploratory session
  • New app mode: Now you can use the app connected to Jira without Xray
  • Create Sub-defects
  • Create any issue types during a test session, like improvements.
  • Improve connection for Jira Server instances behind the firewall

You can also use the app without Xray or Jira. It works as a stand-alone capturing tool and you can generate a test session report locally.
