We’ve introduced enhanced caching options to improve Xray’s performance, reduce load times, and provide greater flexibility in managing data freshness. These options allow you to tailor caching behavior for Test Repository, ensuring a faster and more responsive experience:

Key Improvements

• Enhanced Caching Strategies:
  • Configurable Caching Options: We’ve introduced advanced caching options to improve performance and flexibility. Folder data is now cached with an automatic invalidation mechanism that clears the cache and retrieves updated data whenever changes are made, such as folder creation or renaming. Similarly, issue type information can be cached, with new data fetched either when the cache expires or when caching is explicitly disabled via the new global settings.
• Optimized Loading Times: Code optimizations to deliver faster page rendering and a smoother user experience.
• Pre-Fetching Data for Seamless Navigation: When accessing the "Folders" tab, data for the "Test Sets" tab is pre-fetched (and vice-versa), ensuring quicker transitions between these tabs.

These improvements ensure a faster, more efficient experience while maintaining flexibility to adjust settings based on your organization's needs.
