Lets start Start by creating a Test Execution from a Test Plan from the context menu menu.

After the Test Execution creation we is created, you can access to the issue and visualize it.

We have Here we marked one of the steps has as FAIL and nd in result the Test is also marked as FAIL.

We are now inside of a Test Run and you can see the Status of the Test Steps (how it affects the Test Run) and the Status of the Test Run itself.

Looking to When you look at the Test Executionhas , as expected it shows the result of the associated Test Runs and they appear has failed as expected. it appears as failed.
Tip
You might have notice that the Test Execution has moved is in status to "Resolved" this is due to a configuration in the App.
