Introduction

Rules are a set of Constraints and/or Forced Interactions that can ensure your model follows mandatory business rules you may want to include in your Test Model outcomes.

Rules are crucial for generating valid and efficient test scenarios. They prevent invalid parameter combinations, reduce redundant Tests, maximize coverage of important cases, and save time by focusing on relevant Scenarios.

Access

On the Test Case Designer home page, click My Test Models (Figure 1 - 1) and enter a Test model (Figure 1 - 2).

You will land on the Parameters screen (Figure 2).

Click Rules (Figure 2 - 1) and the dropdown with Constraints and Forced Interactions will open (Figure 2 - 2).
