Sometimes, after importing a batch of Tests with Test Case Importer, in the end, we see a lot of warnings associated with a field called External Issue ID.
Explanation:
Our Test Case Importer uses per base the default Jira Importer. We just made a revamp and added some direct fields like Test Steps from Xray to make the import process easier.
The warnings shown are generated by Jira and not properly by the import of Xray. Nevertheless, this is a common question among users. Please see below some threads from Atlassian's community reporting the same:
