Problem
On Jira 7 there is a character limit for text fields that by default is set to 32767 characters.
A workaround is to set the configuration value to 0 so that there is no limit.
Step-by-step guide
To change the character limit:
- Go to Jira Administration- System - General configuration - Click Advanced Settings:
- Find the jira.text.fields.character.limit and set it to 0 or other value bigger then 32767
