Xray provides global (i.e., instance-wide) and project-level settings.

By default, projects use the globally defined settings, but each project can override some of these in order to meet the needs of each project.

Some operations and some settings are only available in the global context (e.g., Test Status) as defined in the Jira Administration Settings.
